What size nails to use when restoring old double-hung windows?

A few sizes and types of nails come in quite handy:

1 1/4″ X #17 brad nails are great for securing sash cord knots to stile channels.

3/4″ X #15 brad nails are good for reattaching zinc weather stripping when reusing original nail holes.

1 1/4″ finishing nails are good for parting strips.

1 1/2″ finishing nails are usually good for inner stops.
